We have some slots for the State Exam Preparation Course starting soon. If you are sitting for the oral exam this summer don´t miss the opportunity to train intensively with this two-week course.

STATE EXAM PREP 5/7/2018 to 5/18/2018 Mon thru Fri. 7.30 – 9 p.m. ET 15 hours  $   400.00

 

Intensive practice courses consist of 10 days of practice in simultaneous, consecutive and sight interpretation. These courses are designed to help you prepare for the oral exam. We do not train for the written portion.
All practice courses are taught live and are also recorded. Participants will have access to the recorded webinar for one month following each lesson in order to review and practice further or to make up for missed lessons. All materials taught and homework assignments are emailed to participants for their personal use.

CITO 1 starting tomorrow

Ethics I & II – 12/16/2017

By request, we have added two Ethics courses back to back to help those who need to comply with the requirement of  3 hours of Ethics for 3 CE units.

ETHICS  I                                                                                                        1.5 H

Code of Ethics of Professional Interpreters – Cannons of Code of Ethics used by State courts, NAJIT, US courts etc.  An in-depth look at each of the cannons and what they mean.

ETHICS II                                                                                                       1.5 H

Applied Ethics. A practical look at how the code of ethics applies in different situations. Examples of ethical dilemmas. How to handle different situations. When to say NO, and how to say it.
