All webinars and courses are instructor-led, taught live by Victoria Dopazo.

Recorded versions of the webinars are provided to the students registered for further practice and also for the benefit of students that may miss the occasional webinar or arrive late.  Live participation is always preferred.

All times published here are Eastern Standard Time.

Reserve a spot by registering via PayPal or Eventbrite. We only require 10% as a deposit for the longer courses. Apart from the dates published, we can offer other dates upon request of a minimum of two students registering to get the course started.

All practice courses are taught live and are also recorded. Participants will have access to the recorded webinar for one month following each lesson in order to review and practice further or to make up for missed lessons. All materials taught and homework assignments are emailed to participants for their personal use.  Students are expected to practice between sessions following the instructor’s recommended methodology.

2022 update from the AOUSA: Scheduling is now closed for the Federal Court Interpreter Certification Examination oral phase offered August 1-8, 2022. The exam will be administered again at a later date in 2022.

Dates: April 18 to May 23, 2022 – Monday and Wednesday 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. EST –                               

   Note: No class on Wednesday May 4.

Cost: $450 for 15 hours of training. You will be provided materials and recordings of each session for you to keep and use for further practice. Reserve your spot with $45. The balance will be billed by 4/18/2022. Payment options are available up to 3 payments of $150 each.


Certificates of completion will be issued to those who complete the 15 hours of training.

Methodology: We will work on the Zoom platform where you can view the presenters screen as well as your own. You will be provided scripts as well as recordings of passages to work from both in class and on your own. Free Introductory Session: An overview of what is required to train to become a court interpreter. No experience necessary. Q and A session will follow. The time for this free introductory session has been changed to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9.
