Victoria Dopazo is a Federal and State Certified Court Interpreter with 20 years of experience in Court Interpreting and over 20 years of experience in teaching languages. Victoria obtained an English as a Foreign Language teaching degree in her native country, Argentina. In addition to teaching in Argentina, Victoria has taught in Australia, Singapore, and the United States. She also holds certification as a court interpreter from NAJIT, and the Administrative Offices of the Courts of Maryland and New York. Before becoming a court interpreter she owned and operated language schools in Argentina and the United States. As director of The Language Institute, she has taught and coordinated courses and has managed translation and interpretation projects. Currently, Victoria works as an independent contractor providing interpretation and translation services mostly in court. She also teaches online courses on court interpretation to aspiring court interpreters as well as continuing education workshops for court certified interpreters.
