Victoria Dopazo is a Federal and State Court Certified Interpreter with 22 years of experience in Court Interpreting and over 20 years of experience in teaching languages. She also holds certification as a court interpreter from NAJIT, and the Administrative Offices of the Courts of Maryland and New York.
Currently Victoria works as a contractor interpreter for Federal Courts and other agencies and clients. She also teaches court interpreting courses online to aspiring interpreters and to interpreters pursuing continuing education credits and higher certification. She established Court Interpreter Training Online, now CITO Institute in 2017.
Victoria holds a teaching degree as she obtained an English as a Foreign Language teaching degree in her native country, Argentina. In addition to teaching in Argentina, Victoria has taught in Australia, Singapore, and the United States.
Before becoming a court interpreter she owned and operated language schools in Argentina and the United States. As director of The Language Institute, she has taught and coordinated courses and has managed translation and interpretation projects.
