  • Ethics I         Aug. 12 from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Code of Ethics for Professional Court Interpreters –  We’ll analyze different codes of ethics, compare them and explain each cannon and its applicability.

  • Ethics II       Aug. 19 from 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.

Applied Ethics. A practical look at how the code of ethics applies in different situations. Examples of ethical dilemmas. How to handle different situations. When to say NO, and How to say it.

  • Intensive Exam Preparation: 

These courses are for people that qualify to sit for the oral exam at State or Federal level. The contents are tailored accordingly. The dates have been selected according to expressed demand. Only a few seats available for each. Reserve your seat and pay later. You will receive an invoice and a deadline. If payment is not received by the deadline the seat will go to the next one on the waiting list. We anticipate a waiting list as the exam approaches and we have received many requests. Notice we have included two new courses to accommodate the demand but won’t be able to open more before the next exam dates.

To start training to become a court interpreter you should start with the once a week regular program, CITO 1.

Next CITO 1 starting on September 9, 2017 – Sat. 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
